Church & Dwight Reports Stronger Sales Numbers In 1Q 2017

Church & Dwight Co., Inc., reported net sales rose 3.3 percent to $877.2 million in the first quarter of 2017, compared with the same quarter in the previous year. Organic net sales expanded 2.3 percent, boosted by the 2.6 percent growth of its global consumer business. According to the company, organic sales were pushed up by volume growth of 2.7 percent, which is on top of the 5.2 percent growth recorded in the first quarter of 2016.
