Iran Ready To Boost Global Beauty Market Growth, Study Reveals

March 1, 2016: 12:00 AM EST
Iran, which accounts for 29 percent of the beauty market in the Middle East, is a fast-growing market for cosmetics, haircare, and other personal care products. Data from the study, “The New Faces Of Iran: Fashion, Beauty & Paradoxes,” revealed 55 percent of the country’s 80 million inhabitants are younger than 30 years. Although the country became an Islamic republic after the 1979 revolution, Iranians define their country and themselves according to their ancient Persian origins. Iran’s leading cities have been seeing economic growth despite the international embargo that lasted for decades. Iranian women, who are extremely educated, play an important part in society.
