Unilever Launches Joint Venture With EAC In Myanmar

Unilever said it has formed a joint venture with Europe & Asia Commercial Company Ltd to manufacture, sell, and distribute home and personal care products in Myanmar. With annual sales of over €100 million in the country, the joint venture is expected to provide the partners with mutual benefits coming from a complementary product lineup, expanded presence in the country's rural areas, and economies of scale. Also, both Unilever and EAC are focused on sustainability and corporate social responsibility efforts in the country.
